Lake View Island

Lake view island was inaugurated on 4^th October, 2016 with a motto “Living in Blues”. Lake View Island, also known as Rajbihar or Raj Bari, is a picturesque island situated in Kaptai Lake in Rangamati, Bangladesh. This island is famed for its serene surroundings, natural beauty, and the peaceful ambiance created by the tranquil waters of Kaptai Lake.

Visitors often flock to Lake View Island to experience the scenic boat rides, relax amidst nature, and explore the stunning landscapes of the lake and its surrounding greenery. The island offers various activities, such as boat trips, picnics, and walks, allowing tourists to soak in the beauty of the lake and its serene environment. Nilkouri, a 50-foot-long luxury barge boat, has been built for sightseeing and overnight stays in Kaptai Lake. The 'Hilltop Resort' was built on a dune near Kaptai Lake. Yellow Zone and Orange Zone are the names of children's play areas. Machanghar, or tree house, is constructed on a tree. There are also suspension bridges that connect one Machang to another.

How to Go:

Lake View Island is open to visitors from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily and an entry fee is needed. You can book the picnic spot and can also hire sound system.

The boat will give you ride for daylong. Lake View resort has both non-AC and AC rooms. It also offers overnight camping in tents.
