Happy Island

“Happy Island” is an amusement park, located adjacent to Kaptai lake near Vedvedi area of Rangamati district. This island with beautiful green nature and beautiful architecture is essentially a water park. Managed by Arannok Holiday Resort. Adorned with rows of flowering trees, both children and adult come here to enjoy rides and swimming pool. This remarkable water island was inaugurated on April 23, 2018, on a hillock surrounding Kaptai Lake, by the Bangladesh Army's 305 Infantry Brigade.

Happy Island is shaped like a giant fish and covers an area of approximately 45 acres. It has several entertainment options. The park offers a variety of attractions, including water rides, a lakeside swimming pool, and boat rides. It also includes picnic areas, a coffee shop, and a mermaid sculpture. It is now widely recognized as a popular entertainment destination for people of all ages, including children.

Happy Island is managed by the Military Region. In order to visit Happy Island, you must pay an entry fee. Every day except Monday, the park opens at 11 a.m.

How to Go:

Several buses run from Dhaka's Fakirapur, Gabtali, and Kalabagan to Rangamati. Buses usually leave for Rangamati between 8 and 9 a.m. and 8.30 and 11 p.m. You can take the bus from Rangamati Cantonment to Aranyak Resort's Happy Island and then drive or use CNG on the main road.
