Chandamari Mosque, Kurigram

The Chandamari Mosque is a prominent tourist attraction in Kurigram's Rajarhat Upazila. This famous mosque is situated 4 km south west of Rajarhat upazila in Chandamari village of Chakirpasha union. The Chandamari Mosque in Kurigram, Bangladesh, dates back to the Mughal era, suggesting its construction during the Mughal Empire's reign in the Indian subcontinent. The mosque's historical origins are believed to trace back to several centuries ago, possibly around the 17th century.

Many busses leave directly for Kurigram from Shyamoli or Kallyanpur in the capital Dhaka. After reaching Kurigram bus stand you can hire a rickshaw or auto rickshaw to go Rajarhat Upazila Nirbahi Officer's office, Chandamari Mosque in adjacent to it. There are several hotels of varying quality near Ghoshpara and Central Bus Terminal in Kurigram.
